Hey Everyone! Talia here - founder and designer of clr shop (pronounced COLOR shop, for those of you who may be wondering). 

As a multi-media artist based in Brooklyn, I've worked as a creative and musician for all of my professional life. Up until the pandemic hit, I spent most of my time touring with my band as my alter-ego self, Rodes Rollins. 

When touring came to a standstill in March 2020, I began focusing more on work in my studio writing music and designing. I decided to start selling my woven pieces online thinking to myself, 'this could be a fun project and maybe someone would like this' - having no idea that hundreds of orders from around the world would begin pouring in. You can imagine my surprise!

Making these pieces for you all has been more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. Seeing my artwork in your homes, incorporated into your special spaces as a means for your own self-expression, is one of the coolest things I have ever experienced as an artist. In fact, it reminds me of the way I feel when I hear someone singing one of my songs. And, it reminds me of the powerful shared experiences and language that art creates for us. 

So, thank you. Thank you for being here, for supporting my small business, and for joining me on this clr shop journey! I excited to share that, thanks to you all, there's lots more on the way.
