Cozy Up with Your Valentine: The Perfect Blanket & Movie for a Romantic Night In

Cozy Up with Your Valentine: The Perfect Blanket & Movie for a Romantic Night In

February is finally here! Slowly but surely, we’re putting down our 2023 roots. We’re chipping away at our resolutions (if that’s your thing), we’re in a better groove with the rhythm of winter, and, if you’re anything like us, we’re looking ahead at March and the first hints of spring. Of course, the second month of the year also means it’s nearly time for Valentine’s Day :)

This week, we hope to ignite your festive spirit and get you in the mood to cozy up with these fun blanket & movie pairings! We hope you feel inspired to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, whether it be with your romantic partner, your friends, your pets or your family. Whatever you do, though - make sure you spread the love <3

Abstract Form /  “20th Century Women”

What many people have called the cinematic equivalent of being hugged or wrapped up in a blanket - need we say more? Whoever you end up spending Valentine’s Day with, there’s no way you’ll get to the end of this film without feeling warm & cozy. Love, in all its for forms.

Dancing Shapes - Forest Green / “Before” Trilogy

Feeling up for a romantic movie, but you also have the urge to binge watch? Get cozy and queue up all three of Rickard Linklater’s brilliant films, that follow Jesse and Céline through almost two decades of their lives. The chemistry between Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke is unmatched!

Cowgirl / “Thelma & Louise”

Women discovering their strength and their love for each other in the middle of a cross country chase with the police. If you feel the need to be infused with some empowerment this Valentine’s Day, Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon will give you just that.

Melted Butterscotch / “Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown”

Single and not feeling in the festive spirit? This classic by Pedro Almodóvar is the perfect way to amp up the joy this Valentine’s Day (and get some interior design inspo, as well)! Hilarious, uplifting, and a pleasure to watch for its super vibrant color palette.

Color Block - Aqua / “Something’s Gotta Give”

If you’re in the mood for a Hollywood love story full of hilarious twists and turns, give this Nancy Meyers’ film a shot this February. Have Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson ever been anything but extraordinary?

By the way, here at Clr Shop, we're celebrating love this year with a special Valentine’s giveaway.
