Winter Decor with Depth
For Annelies, winter decor is about warmth and depth: “I have multiple winter decoration must-haves like scented candles with all of the woody tones, warm blankets on the sofa, and sheepskins on the floor. But I think that bringing in some life from the garden, for instance with evergreen branches, dried flowers, or some cool ceramic planters with bulbs, gives you some sense of ‘Spring is around the corner.’ Especially on very cold and grey days, it gives us something to look forward to.”
Her approach effortlessly balances the richness of winter with subtle hints of renewal. Dark, grounding hues like deep browns, forest greens, and inky blues set the tone, while organic textures and botanical elements soften the space.
