Soundtrack Spotlight: corook

Happy Thursday, everyone :)

Say hello to a brand new feature on our blog: Soundtrack Spotlight! We're turning up the volume and shining a spotlight on the funky & talented musicians we've been inspired by recently.

Today, we're kicking it off with the mesmerizing sounds and artistic vision of none other than corook!

Ever since we learned about them, we've had their songs on repeat in our studio & their TikToks constantly at the top of our feeds. Corook's fun and explorative approach to music & style resonates so deeply with us and has been an endless source of inspiration!

Corinne Savage - stage name corook - is an American singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, Tennessee. Active since 2021, their debut EP achoo! was released in 2022, while their most recent project serious person (part 1) came out merely two weeks ago, on June 2nd, 2023.

Before starting their career, corook attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, where they graduated with a dual degree in Songwriting and Contemporary Writing and Production.

Corook has self-described their sound as '2000's Gwen Stefani does acid and decieds to write a Broadway musical about the Beatles starring Timbaland'. Their music & visual explorations have gained incredible traction through TikTok, most recently with the viral hit 'if i were a fish', which corook wrote with their partner and fellow musician, Olivia Barton
